Travis T. Tygart has served as CEO of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) since 2007, leading efforts to protect clean athletes and uphold the integrity of sport. Since joining USADA in 2002, he has held key roles including Director of Legal Affairs and General Counsel, where he prosecuted anti-doping cases before the American Arbitration Association and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Tygart played a pivotal role in shaping USADA’s anti-doping protocols and has testified before U.S. Congress and international bodies on performance-enhancing drugs and policy reform. He led several landmark investigations, including those into the BALCO lab, Operation Raw Deal, and the U.S. Postal Service cycling team, culminating in the high-profile Lance Armstrong case. His advocacy contributed to the Rodchenkov Anti-Doping Act and global reforms following the Russian state-sponsored doping scandal.
He has published legal articles on Title IX, antitrust, and doping, and continues to champion clean sport through research and education, including the TrueSport Report. Recognized globally, Tygart has appeared on the TIME 100 list, Sports Illustrated’s 50 Most Powerful People in Sports, and received multiple awards including the USA Swimming Award and ACES Leadership Award.
Tygart serves on boards such as the Sports Lawyers Association and the Partnership for Clean Competition. He holds a BA in philosophy from the University of North Carolina and a JD from Southern Methodist University. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, he lives with his wife, Nichole, and their three children.

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy, Continuing Professional Education Department will be responsible for obtaining and providing continuing pharmacy education for the Inaugural Sports Pharmacy Summit.
NSU Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This conference will be approved for up to 12 contact hours (1.2 Continuing Education Units, or CEUs).
NSU College of Pharmacy is also a CE Broker provider for the Florida Board of Pharmacy. The program will be approved for 12 hours of general continuing education (CE) credit with CE Broker.
The Provider will report all earned continuing education (CPE) credits for this program to both NABP and CE Broker for those pharmacists who provide a “Certificate of Participation” with their proper credentials. This form will be given at the conclusion of the program.
It is the responsibility of the pharmacist to check with both accreditation bodies within thirty days (May 12, 2025) to verify that their credits are correctly posted. Thirty (30) days after the end of a program, CE Broker will not accept credits from this program. After 60 days, NABP will not accept credits from this program.
